Loss of the Earnest Money Deposit when the winning bidder fails to complete payment.
If the auction winner does not pay the 25% within 1-2 days or the balance 75% within 15-30 days, the EMD is forfeited and the bank may re-auction. Forfeiture is automatic and not refundable; bidders should bid only what they can fund.
