Provision empowering the District Magistrate to assist the secured creditor in taking physical possession.
Section 14 of SARFAESI Act allows a secured creditor (or a buyer who has acquired rights via sale certificate) to apply to the DM for police-aided physical possession. The DM is bound to issue an order; physical handover typically follows within 30-90 days.
